Deutsche Kolonien und ihre Beute – Postkoloniales Berlin und seine Raubkunst

In dem Workshop vermitteln wir Wissen zu der Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft geraubten Artefakte und sprechen über Deutschlands Beteiligung an der Kolonialen Aufteilung Afrikas. Wir laden euch zu einem Perspektivwechsel ein und zeigen euch die Kolonialgeschichte aus Sicht des globalen Südens.
Im Anschluß besuchen wir das Humboldtforum Berlin. Gemeinsam mit euch möchten wir die Ausstellung und Führungen der ethnologischen Abteilung kritisch hinterfragen.

In the workshop, we will share knowledge about the past, present and future of looted artefacts and talk about Germany’s participation in the colonial division of Africa. We invite you to a change of perspective and show you colonial history from the perspective of the global south.
Afterwards we will visit the Humboldtforum Berlin. Together with you, we would like to critically question the exhibition and guided tours of the ethnological department.
